At the top of your "Projects" page, you'll find the Global Menu which grants you access to various sections of your Notion workspace, such as Home, Tasks, Docs, Clients, Resources, Team, Yearly Planner, and Documentation.
Creating a new project is quick and intuitive. Here's how you do it:
Congratz! You've now added a new project to your Notion workspace.
Following the Global Menu, there are three main views that offer different ways to visualize your projects:
Serves as your default project management layout, helping you to easily track projects that are currently ongoing. These projects are classified into three groups based on their status: Waiting to Start, Planning, and In Progress.
But that's not all there is to the Active Projects View! Three additional groups are available, hidden by default: Paused, Done, and Cancelled. These groups help you keep track of projects that are temporarily on hold, those you've already completed, and those cancelled altogether.
To access these groups, scroll to the bottom of the page and click on the dropdown arrow in front of “3 hidden groups”. This action will unfold the projects under the respective group, giving you a full perspective on all projects, irrespective of their status.
By hiding these groups when not in use, the Active Projects View ensures you're not overwhelmed with information, yet gives you the option to have a comprehensive view of all your projects, whenever you want it.
