Navigating the Tasks Page

You can assign each task one of five statuses: Not started, In progress, Paused, Done, or Cancelled, giving you a clear picture of your progress.

Global Menu

At the top of your "Tasks" page, you'll find the Global Menu which grants you access to various sections of your Notion workspace, such as Home, Tasks, Docs, Clients, Resources, Team, Yearly Planner, and Documentation.

  1. By Project (Default View):

    In this view, tasks are grouped by the projects you've created. Tasks can be easily added to any project, and the status of each task can be monitored and updated as necessary. Task statuses include: Not started, In progress, Paused, Done, and Cancelled.

  2. Board View:

    This view enables a visual representation of your tasks in a Kanban-style format, categorized by their respective statuses: Not started, In progress, Paused, Done, and Cancelled. Tasks can be seamlessly moved between columns as they progress, giving you a transparent snapshot of your workflow.

  3. Daily Tasks View:

    This view displays all tasks assigned for the current day, making it a handy tool for focusing on immediate priorities. The tasks shown here can be at any stage, whether Not started, In progress, Paused, Done, or Cancelled.

  4. Weekly View:

    In this view, tasks are spread across the week. This perspective is beneficial for planning and managing your workload and for spotting busy or free periods in your schedule. Tasks in any stage, from Not started to Cancelled, are included.

  5. All Tasks:

    This is the comprehensive list of all tasks across all projects, regardless of their status. It offers an inclusive view of everything, helping you understand your overall workload.
